This was the second bank chartered in Detroit on December 7, 1863 and was liquidated when the charter expired 20 years later. It was signed by H.P. Baldwin, who was also a governor of the state, and C.M. Davison as cashier. This Deuce has a nick on the right edge and some flaws in the body as well, but many of the 13 large notes reported are of lower quality. Previously from a 1996 CAA sale. The Dr. Wallace Lee Collection.
