This institution was chartered in 1884 and with only six notes reported it may well be the city's scarcest bank. This $5 has seen light circulation, but it is from a rare bank that closed in 1910. Excellent pen signatures of C.S. Dayton, President and family member Ecle Dayton,Cashier. A beautiful layout on this rare note and surely the best note on the bank. The Dr. Wallace Lee Collection.
