This bank was chartered in 1870 and liquidated in 1890, after issuing only $5 First Charters. The census shows there are four notes reported. This example is evenly circulated. Excellent pen signatures of J.C. Simonson, President and the assistant cashier. The only appearance I can find was a somewhat higher grade in the DeGood collection that realized $6,325. The Dr. Wallace Lee Collection.
