There were two national banks in this Page County community but the other only issued First Charters. This bank issued 2,000 sheets of $10-10-10-20 Red Seals and there are just two reported. The Iowa census shows 11 large notes recorded on this bank but there have only ever been two notes to appear at auction. This is a beautiful Red Seal but the three folds are hard, so I hesitate to call it XF. Signatures of E.F. Rose, President and C.D.
