This bank was chartered in June 1933 and there are nine small notes reported, even though there were few issued. This is one of six $50 Type 2 notes known and there are only Type 2 $50s known for two banks in Michigan. This beauty has a couple of minor folds but complete originality. Dr. Lee had the bottom (#6) note from the #1 sheet. The Ch. AU realized $4,830 in March 2007. The Dr. Wallace Lee Collection.
