This charter took over for #77 in 1882, as was the law, and it issued Brown backs, Red Seals and Date backs before retaking the #77 charter in 1911 when the law was revisited. They printed 33,500 sheets of $10-10-10-20 Red Seals. This is the first Red Seal known, as well as being only the second note reported from the charter. It's a lovely circ note with excellent black signatures of James A. Linen, President and Isaac Post, Cashier. From eBay, March 2002. --- Jess Lipka Red Seal Collection --- Jess Lipka Red Seal Collection
