This bank was chartered in 1865 and closed in 1883. They issued only First Charters and now there is a $1 and $10 known. This note, the finest of two notes available from the town, was Lot 1834 in the Grinnell sale and was previously part of the DeGood collection.. The signatures are clear, but I can only read that of the cashier, Douglas Hoyt. The Dr. Wallace Lee Collection.
