This one-bank town was chartered in 1884 and was in business until 1930. This is far from the earliest possible note known, but it is, without a doubt, the finest of the nine notes reported. The margins are great and the pen signatures of V.D. Sprague, Vice President and I.H. Erratt, Cashier are clear. Ex: Grinnell and previously from the Lee DeGood Collection.
