This one-bank town did not have a national bank until 1919 and it lost it 10 years later in 1929. The bank only issued sheets of $5 notes. This note, previously from the DeGood collection, is by far the finest of the four notes reported. The rubber stamped signatures are evenly strong. The Dr. Wallace Lee Collection.
