This is an excessively rare one-bank town in Saint Clair County that was chartered in 1914, but issued very few notes. Only the four notes from the #1 sheet have survived in large size (2,737 sheets were printed) and a single G/VG in small size. This sheet was in the Grinnell sale and has since been split apart. This note, previously from the DeGood collection, has wonderful signatures of A.H. Medbury, President and A.R. Niles, Cashier. The Dr. Wallace Lee Collection.
