The Fr. 229a has always been an elusive variety. The example offered here is one of the finest encapsulated by PMG. Only four notes have reached this level with four fetching a point better. That is not a lot of notes for probably the single most popular sets to assemble - a collection of Gem Eagles. Wonderful embossing and near-perfect centering.
