This note is beautiful and it's the lowest serial number star known for this scarce and popular issue. A non-star #24 realized $2,232. This rarity last sold in 2002 at $7,475. We sold a Fine #42 in 2009 for $1,150, strengthening the value of this example, the only known star serial number under 100. I can understand why this was offered as a Gem in 2002 as it's very attractive.
