A well used note from Carbon County and a bank that has excellent stamped signatures. Read the following 1991 description to see how things have changed since then. "This is the only large size note we've seen or heard of from the town of Nesquehoning, a small Carbon County community in east Pennsylvania. With only $2,170 in unredeemed currency outstanding in July 1935, don't expect to see another soon. This note has "Grand Dad F.H. Carter 12-22" lightly penned on the back. We don't believe this note will realize less than $200 if rarity is meaningful." There are currently 12 large notes reported. From Hickman, 9/91.
