This was Lot 1212 in our Summer 2005 sale where it was sold for $21,850 and was described as follows: "This is one difficult type to acquire. There are 19 Fr. 148 notes in the census that are in collectors hands. Numerous examples are low grade or very seldom seen. I would feel safe to say that in the last 30 years this has been one of the two least available types offered. This note is a pleasing, problem free Fine that last appeared in CAA's October 1998 sale where it realized $11,000."
