Grade: PCGS Ch. Abt. New 58
The Cleveland district is one of the more available of the 12 Federal Reserve Banks, yet neither PMG or PCGS has seen any notes finer than the example we offer here. Two notes auctioned in the last four years were graded '64' and '65' by CGA, but both showed very heavy teller dirt and in my opinion, are inferior to this PCGS 58. Only one note, the Taylor Collection specimen, could be as nice, as it was graded Choice CU in that February 2005 sale. However, it seems odd that neither grading service mentioned above has seen it yet. Nevertheless, the note we offer here is a beauty and could hold its own to any CU.
