This variety is almost undoubtedly the most misrepresented in large size type notes. Most people don't understand, or even try to, that the word "series" or "new series" is not on this note anywhere. Virtually all known examples are low grade like this one. Most came from me via the $5,000 face value deal from the Davenport bank hoard. That group included five examples and none better than VG. This note is well worn and used. Graded Good, repaired, 04 by CGA.
