Only 22 notes are listed in the census on the Phenix National Bank, and thanks to three consecutive cut sheets of $5s, most are Red Seals. The last time a $5 from one of these cut sheets was offered was in 2007, when a pair of Ch. CU notes brought about $2,000 each. This example is totally fresh and unprocessed, yet shows a faint vertical bend. This 'D' position note is new to the census; the 'C' position from the same sheet was sold in 1999.
