A trophy note for the state if there ever was one, and one of the great town names. After all, what could be more evocative of the Wild West than this? Bold purple-stamped signatures and a light vertical fold on what was essentially an uncirculated note. Frederick Mayer had a VG example (the second finest of the three known) which sold for $6,000 after spirited bidding among several bidders. The final result for this peach will be difficult to predict. The last two bidders standing will know that if they do not prevail, there will be no second chance to obtain anything close to this note in quality.
Current Bid:
$ 30,000.00
Estimate:
($ 10,000.00 - $ 20,000.00)
