This town is spelled with an "S" instead of a "C" due to a misspelling by the early explorers when they named the nearby Sheyenne River after the Cheyenne Indians. Fortunately, that gives us this oddly named North Dakota note. This was the sole National Bank to serve this town and we can trace just 10 notes for this large-only bank.
