This is one of the most desirable locations in Colorado. Chartered in 1893, the bank issued $486,900 in large size notes, of which five pieces have survived. This is the only Brownback known and is the best note on the bank. The Mayer Collection contained two Blue Seals in Fine or less, which were the only two notes that ever came on the market during the 15 or so years that Mr. Mayer was collecting. This piece had some expert repairs performed to internal tears but faces up extremely well.
