Only when we get very lucky (like putting together a Memphis sale) do we get a chance to handle both a $500 and $1,000 1928 from Boston. These have proven to be nearly unavailable to the public in the recent collecting past. The demand from collectors seeking $1,000s has increased dramatically during the last 20 years, so too has the desirability of rarities like this early Boston. The note has a well hidden fold and some definite handling but the centering is decent and the color is strong.
