A wonderful example of this very rare $5 Gold Bank note that is the lowest serial number (#12) known. The note came from a 1998 CAA sale and it is the finest known, according to the Track & Price census. Notes from the gold bank are among the rarest and most desirable with only 17 examples known, in all denomination, which includes a $100 from the New Netherlands.
