This is the scarcer type 'a' with 23 examples in the census. It once sold as a Choice CU and if removed from the holder most people would probably mistake it for that grade again. It has a crisp impression and vibrant colors as well as traces of embossing and a touch of handling. Two tiny dark spots appear in the top margin when the note is candled, but are all but invisible otherwise. The four-digit serial number is worth a little extra. Just two of the recorded notes are finer.
