$1,000 1928 A Boston A-A DGS
Grade:
PMG AU 50
Like its $500 brother, this $1,000 Boston is the rarest district of all the 1928s and is the most valuable of the known thousands, except for the replacements. Although a few of these have come to light in the last couple of years, it remains an in-demand and highly desirable note. This fabulous example is possibly the finest known, as I am unaware of any CU specimens. The current reference on small size gives a value of $30,000 to a VF, which is as nice a grade as this district is usually found. It is hard to say what this condition census note will bring, as there are several people attempting to assemble the finest high-denomination set possible.
Current Bid:
$ 13,000.00
