Here is a cool serial #1 from the 31st run of 100,000 notes, as I understand it. This is a great looking, fresh and evenly circulated example of this type that were most often found in worn out condition. Apparently there is a closed tear on the centerfold, but that is an insignificant fact as the quality of this note makes it one of the best #1 of this series. Apparently there are only two #1 notes known for the 1862 Series Second Obligation. Graded VF 25 by CGA.
