Fr. 654 $20 1902ND
Grade:
XF
I wish I could grade this higher, but the unfortunate presence of two secondary diagonal folds keeps me from it. The paper is bright and crisp, despite the folds, the purple signatures are big and bold and the note has oodles of quality. This is one of just two $20 1902 Plainbacks, and one of 16 total large notes reported on this Fremont County location. This is definitely one of the three nicest known, with a $10 Brownback listed as CU and a $20 1882 Dateback listed as AU. This should find a place of honor in someone's collection, appealing to a wide variety of collecting avenues.
