Both types were issued for the San Francisco $50, but this type "b" is all that is ever available. Sixteen notes are known with nine surfacing over the last two decades. This is from a September 2003 auction. It is a solid note and without any problems to report, save for some dirt on the back, which is fully accounted for in the grade.
