Finding low serial numbers (single digit) is quite uncommon on lazy deuces but this note is an exception. It is a series 1875 deuce with a plate date of August 15, 1865 and was printed by NBN Co. NY and pen signed by Wm. Brownell, President and H.C. Stevens, Cashier. This note has excellent appearance and wonderful paper quality for the grade. There are 91 large notes reported of which 34 are deuces, mostly 1875 series.
