C. 1921 W & F Film Service Ltd presents Viola Dana in "Puppets of Fate". Viola Dana was famous for her flapper-esque roles, she would go on to star in The Great Love with Chester Conklin and later Three Sisters with Boris Karloff before retiring with the transition of sound. Adapted from the story by Donn Byrne and directed by Dallas M. Fitzgerald. A romance in which Destiny deals out joys and sorrows - tears and smiles, with utter disregard of the puppets in her game. A silent romantic drama about a couple of Italian foreigners who travel to New York to make their fortune in America. This exquisitely illustrated silent era poster has survived 100 years and depicts the lead characters as marionettes controlled by the hand of fate. Three sheet poster on linen. Very minor fold marks. Size: 42-88
