According to WW II Remembered, these former types from Algeria were overprinted "TRESOR" as "the first conversion that was conducted by the Allies with the objective of blocking excess purchasing power". Illustrated in neither the Standard Catalog nor WW II Remembered. This original has a few pinholes, primarily at left. Seldom offered; the best example we have offered.
