FIVE NOTES; most likely a complete set of company scrip for Breijinho das Amethystas. Originally a German company operating in Idar, German capital of the gem industry. Part of the company was and still is located in Brazil. Notes were issued from 1918 to 1933 with permission of the Brazilian government. The company's owner, H. Albert Becker, helped develop the region. Printed in Germany. WBG terms these "Ch. UNC 64 TOP"; "UNC 62Q margin staining"; "Ch. AU 58 TOP"; "Ch. XF 45 TOP"; and "UNC 62 TOP", all Neil Shafer Collection. The only complete set of which my father was aware.
