The Dumont d'Urville (after a French explorer of that name) has a numismatic connection with Bougainville (portrayed on 5 Francs French colonial issues); the Dumont D'Urville was a Bougainville class ship (or sloop) from the 1930s that sailed in Africa and Asia. Listed in Kolsky. A few small holes; couple red marks at left and right. Sold as is; no returns.
