Three page, dual denomination proof. The top page, detached from the other two, states "Approved, but if possible more space for signatures, or three lines in same space." dated 1899; this page also has three printed signatures for the Commissioners of Currency. The second page is also an approval proof for the 5 Shillings, with denomination word and numerals; hand written approval date appears to be 9.8.1900. The last page is a fully printed on watermarked paper 1 Pound deep green on light brown underprint. Most certainly a highlight for any collection. PCGS terms this "VF 30 Apparent edge tears and damage".
