$500 Bond, Appears to be issued in September of 1861, S/N 270 out of 178 to 491, Intaglio, Letterpress tints with letterpress back, Black text with black border and red underprint, "Montgomery" crossed out, likely with Richmond written in, signed by Tyler. Fine condition with a trio of folds down center, ink of payee's name and date are feathered, archival repairs along margins, annotation top right corner. Rarity 7 with 11 to 20 estimated to be extant. Imprint: American Bank Note Co. New Orleans.
