Unlike the available 100 Pesos from 1959, this rare 1960 date bears the signature of the famous revolutionary Ernesto Che Guevara de la Serna as President of the National Bank of Cuba. Not listed as an issued note with this date in the Standard Catalog; printer is ABNC. This type with this date was sent after the triumph of the revolution; by 1961, an entirely new series had been produced so it is extremely likely this date was never released. PMG terms this "Ch. UNC 64 previously mounted"; one of only two examples on the population report. The first I have ever seen and a treasure for any collection.
