$1 1963 - 2003 Complete 90 Note Set Super Radar Notes

From the late 1970s through about 2010, there were always one to three employees at different U.S. banks and armored car companies that monthly supplied dozens of fancy serial numbers to dealers Robert Azpiazu, Mike Crabb, Mike Abramson and Willy Baeder. With the advent of large banks buying up their smaller competitors, those days are long over. We know of no domestic supplier that is regularly supplying large quantities of $1 radar or repeater notes to any dealer in the past three years. The supply sources have simply disappeared, as the bank and armored car owners have installed very tight controls on employees handling cash. The very few new fancy serial number notes entering the marketplace are now arriving from foreign suppliers, in much, much smaller quantities. This and the next set were assembled over three decades and are now virtually impossible to duplicate, based on today's supply sources. This incredible set contains every possible SUPER RADAR serial number from #01111110, #02222220, #03333330,# 04444440, etc. through and including #96666669, #97777779, and #988888889. All 90 $1 FRNs are at least Ch. UNC with the vast majority being Gem UNC. We know of only six complete super radar sets and we repeat that your chances of assembling another one is now virtually nil. If one seeks out individual uncirculated $1 FRN #ABBBBBBA notes, one would expect to pay $100 to $125 per note, except for the tough ones: #1000001, #30000003, #40000004, #50000005, #60000006, #70000007, #80000008, #90000009, #96666669, #97777779, #98888889. We have seen the $1 #20000002 recently offered at $2,500, historically the toughest serial number in this group to locate.
