Early type overprinted on back of Danish 1 Rigsdaler; handstamp "B" in circle. LOW SERIAL NUMBER #385. The year 1798 is listed in neither the Danish Sieg Catalog nor in the Standard Catalog. The Sieg Catalog values a "regular" handstamp "B" at $10,000. Overall attractive, bright and clear "B" and watermarks. Couple tears at left; areas of foxing. Extremely rare.
