Crushingly Rare Uncut Connecticut Pair

Colonial Currency > Connecticut

CT-214/CT-215 2d/3d October 11, 1777 Uncut Horizontal Pair
Grade: Ch. Abt. UNC
Rare is rare. For the entire Colony of Connecticut there are only two sheets that we have seen, with the provenances Boyd and Newman attached to those. This pair has a center fold between the two notes and uniform staining seen throughout. With that said, the embossing pops off of the paper and the red signatures and serial numbers look as bold the day they were applied. As if there weren't enough, these notes obviously are uncancelled as well. A crushingly rare pair destined for an advanced collection.
Current Bid: $ 420.00
