This is not your run-of-the-mill serial #00000001 note. Older series $50 serial #00000001 notes are incredibly rare. For all 12 districts for the entire $50 FRN 1928/1928-A series only the #E00000001A and #F00000001A are known. For the entire $50 FRN 1934/1934-D series only the #F00000001A is known and for the $50 1950/1950-E series only the #C00000001A and this note, the #E00000001A are known. The number of $50 denominations printed back in the 1950s and 1960s was miniscule in comparison to other denomations. In fact the 'B' suffix letter was never used on any district on $50 FRNs printed from series 1928 through 1950-E. This $50 1950 FRN #E00000001A has been graded PMG VF 25 and is quite clean for the grade. Those of you attempting to put together a denomination set of serial number #1s, would do well to acquire this wonderful piece.
