A high grade Red Seal $5 that was signed by J.M. Hellman, Jr., President and E.J. Vawler, Jr., Cashier. This lovely Red Seal is new to the Track & Price census. The United States National Bank of Los Angeles in California, chartered in March 1905 and stopped printing notes in 1931, printed $2,896,620 National Currency in six different types and denominations. The bank was located at Second and Spring Streets.
