This double #1 note has purple stamped signatures for junior as president and a new cashier. It appears that the note was folded and carried in a change purse for a short time. The Commercial National Bank of Los Angeles was chartered in July 1903 and liquidated on March 15, 1927, printing $5,882,750 of National Currency in four different types and denominations. On March 21, 1928 the Citizens National Trust & Savings Bank title was taken.
