This note I know the story of first hand. There were 22 examples found in the estate of LaVern Redfield of silver dollar fame. After the dollars were gone the lawyers held a sealed bid auction of the Winnemucca and other notes. I sent my buddy, Jack Everson, to handle the deal and we did. There are records of over $8,000 in the last few years and less more recently.
