Benice 27. Freeman 35. January 1, 1862. Signed by J. Remington in black ink and dated in red ink. Payable at the Bank of St. John's. A very popular title "Confederate Packing House." A great note with Florida collectors or Obsolete collectors in general who appreciate great items. The Newman note graded PCGS Apparent Fine 15, with piece replaced and redrawn, and it still sold for $700. The present offering is easily the nicest example we have seen.
