A latter day rarity is this 1953-B series star note. Until about fifteen years ago these rarely ever surfaced but since that time probably an average of one per year is auctioned. Through the holder this has all the appeal of a pleasing Choice CU example, as we cannot locate the reason for the assigned AU designation. A note that always sells for a strong four-figure price at this grade level and even five figures in CU grades.
