Pen cancelled. Really a heck of a note if you are someone who understands the nuances of colonial paper money. Excellent margins are seen on all sides of this later issue piece, with broad selvage seen at left. Crackling fresh paper and razor sharp printing validate the assignation of the PPQ designation. A nearly solid five-digit serial number, 14444, has not escaped notice. This is a lovely gem in most anyone's book. While not uncancelled, pen cancelled examples are far superior to all the different hole cancelled types and are much more valuable.
