Haxby MA-560 A35. May 1, 1860. PMG notes previously mounted. This note was altered from the Farmers & Merchants Bank of Memphis. Large rubberstamp "Counterfeit Bank of M.R." Perhaps a phonologist could explain the proper local dialect of the "Martha's Vineyard Bank" mentioned on the label. This note first sold for over $500 in 2014.
