JL BH20-25A. Muy (May) 21, 1862. PCGS comments splits and tears, minor stains. Civil War date. A heck of a note and fully signed and numbered. A very scarce bank on its own merits and worth a couple hundred dollars at this grade level if this were a common denomination. The $1.50 and $2.50 odd denomination notes from this series are prohibitively rare and actively pursued by specialists for their collections.
