Rothert 427-2. November 1862. PCGS notes small edge split, pinholes. William Pope, who signed this piece, was the Postmaster of Little Rock from 1849-1855 and then again from 1861-1864. Really a very tough scrip with the obligations "Receivable for Postage" and "Redeemable in Confederate Money." This first sold in a Stacks-Bowers sale a couple of years ago for $470.
