A very scarce Delaware County institution with about 20 small size examples listed. There are a couple of nicer pieces listed in the census but they have never sold publicly; this note appears to be about as good as it gets. A small and well hidden tone spot is seen at back left. The paper is bright with good natural wave and excellent ink colors. A solid choice for any first name set. A few years ago we sold a somewhat lesser VF $20 note for $1,150. This note looks like a VF 35 to me.
