Virtually Top Pop, although it should be noted that every piece that PCGS has graded from this condition-challenged series has received the Apparent grade. Our vast experience in colonial currency and a perusal through auction archives tells us that this is just about the best graded note you will find. PCGS mentions some edge splits and tears but they are of little bother. The Midnight Ride note graded Apparent VF 25 and topped the $850 mark, while the Newman piece is this exact PCGS grade and it sold for $960 six months ago.
